With summer creeping up on us quickly, I’ve been on the look out for some pretty bargains! It was only today that I came across these beauties in the New Look magazine and thought they’d be perfect for the summer sun!
They come in a variety of colours & patterns AND are only £6.99, or buy two for a tenner!
I’ve never really been that keen on espadrilles as I thought they were a bit plain and frumpy looking but after seeing these, I think I may have been converted! The more I look at them, the cuter they look and the more I want them!
How good would they look with a pair of denim cut offs or a floral mini dress?
These are definitely going straight to no1 on my lust have list!!
Looking forward to the rest of the week as it’s going to be a busy one. The last ‘Carnage’ of the year is tomorrow with the theme of Jocks Vs Frilly Frocks. Not the best of themes but nevertheless I’m sure it’ll be a laugh. I’ll be going as a jock with my housemates and crazy Essex girl, Seoana. Bit of a tricky theme to pull off really but as long as they’re in it with me, we’ll all be looking like ‘tools’ together!I’ll be sure to post the photos of us on here!
For those of you who don’t know what Carnage is, it’s a student event that takes place in most University cities and is more or less a massive bar crawl. It happens about five times a year at the most and always has a different theme. Previous themes have been: Barbie Vs Gi Joe, Beauty Vs Geeks, Angels Vs Devils etc- you get the idea! You buy a t-shirt for £10 which gets you into seven venues for free and has a mini ‘to do’ list on the back of the shirt. It’s all a bit of tongue and cheek really! It’s a huge event and always sells out! If you ever get the chance to go on one, go for it-I guarantee you’ll have fun!
On Friday, Chloe, my best friend of 20 years is coming down for the weekend. Haven’t seen her in so long. She’s just one of those people you can be yourself with, be as stupid as you want and she won’t care. We’ll probably mooch about Southampton, do a bit of cheeky shopping and get some grub!Possibly go for a banging fry up on Saturday or roast on Sunday, hmm…decisions! Then later that night I’ve got a few of the guys from my primary school coming up so we’ll all go out somewhere! Any excuse to pop open the vodka!
Anyway, I seem to be massively babbling tonight…..What’s your summer lust have?

Hmm I’m still not sure about the ol’ footwear but those colours are tempting me…
